Panfish pro assassin is my new nick name, after this day in the canoe on high water. Landing panfish and cat fish on the lake in high water is one hell of a time. So back to panfish pro.... in this video we go out to a local lake here in Ohio to try our hand at some canoe lake fishing. To our surprise with high water we get into a mess of fish from, panfish to cats and lets not forget those good old sheep heads AKA drums. With nothing more than a small hook and a bobber with a small bit of night growler we land some fish. The high water had all the fish push up to the bank and under low hanging branches. Using the high water and the stealth of the canoe to our advantage we where able to sneak up close and get out bait right on top of them and bring them to the boat. Toawrd the end of the trip I landed a fish that I have never landed before, a nice shovel head cat fish, all though no giant was a sweet little fight on light tackle. So get your life jacket and come join us in the canoe on this high water day as well get into some sweet cats and those small but fun panfish, and you to can become a panfish pro assassin.
